Dormant items are products which are still listed in a manufacturer's catalog, but which have not been produced in months and are no longer in stock at HLJ. If you are interested in getting one of these items as soon as possible, we recommend that you shop elsewhere before you place an order with us.
If you do place an order for a dormant item, it is almost certainly going to be backordered and stay that way for quite some time. However, if you are patient, we should probably be able to supply the item to you at some point in the future (keep in mind, this could be months or even more than a year away!). If we become convinced that the manufacturer is not going to reissue the item, we will change its status in our catalog to out-of-production.
