PLACING ORDERS / E-MAIL PROBLEMS
1. How do I order?
It's easy! While browsing our product catalog, just click the "Buy This" or "Preorder" buttons that you'll see on the product pages, just like most other Internet mail-order sites. When you've selected your final item, click on the "Go to Checkout" button to confirm your purchases, and then proceed to the checkout page and follow the instructions. Before you get started, however, please read our Policies Page to make sure that you understand some of the details of how we operate to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Please note that HLJ does not accept orders by postal mail or fax. Please place orders through the website.
2. I placed an order or sent you a message, but have not heard anything from you (or I only received the first "echo" confirmation).
If you received an "echo" confirmation e-mail but did not receive an order confirmation e-mail shortly thereafter, please contact us.
If you are sure you have placed an order but you have not received any emails from us (including the "echo" confirmation) PLEASE check your spam/junk/suspicious e-mail folders! Thanks to the spammers, legitimate email -- like the order information sent from hlj.com -- is being lost. To make matters worse, some Internet service providers (such as Comcast in the United States) are arbitrarily blocking mail from ISPs they consider to be spammers without telling their subscribers that their mail is being blocked! Please make sure that your spam filter is set to allow mail from the hlj.com domain. If you have questions on how to do this, or are concerned about arbitrary mail blocks, please contact your Internet service provider as such matters are unfortunately beyond our control. If you still can't find the email with order details, please contact our Customer Service Department at trouble@hlj.com.
2. My browser is having trouble with the shopping cart system (or other parts of your web site are not working properly).
We've developed our site to be compatible with all modern browsers (Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, Firefox 3.0 or later, Safari 4.0 or later, and Google Chrome or any Webkit-based browser). If you're experiencing problems while using an older browser than the above, we strongly recommend that you upgrade (browsers are free) to a more modern browser. If you're using one of the above browsers and still having problems, we'd appreciate it very much if you'd detail the trouble to us in an e-mail, including the exact operating system and brower you're using, and contact us at webmaster@hlj.com.
