How to Pay
We believe that PayPal offers the fastest, safest and most convenient way to pay for purchases you make on the Internet. What's more, if you set up a billing agreement with PayPal, you'll only need to visit their site once in order to pay for all your current and future orders with us through your credit card or bank account.
At checkout, simply designate one of the PayPal options as your payment method. If you don't have a PayPal account yet, you can set one up immediately. If you have an account, you can set up a billing agreement to pre-authorize all your payments with us, similar to leaving a credit card on file. With a billing agreement in place, your orders will ship immediately with no further action on your part necessary when they're ready to go! Alternately, you can indicate you want to pay for just your current order with PayPal. In the latter case, we'll send you an email when your order is ready to ship asking you to go to PayPal's site and authorize the payment to us.
NOTE: Please send an individual payment for each order waiting for payment--please do not send one payment for several orders combined.
NOTICE ABOUT SHIPPING ADDRESS: Orders will be shipped to the address you register in your HLJ account, NOT the address you have registered in your PayPal account. Be sure the address you have registered with us is the one you want your packages sent to. You can check and change your address in My Account.
You can also pay by any major credit card on a per-order basis via PayPal without actually creating a PayPal account. Simply choose "Checkout with PayPal or a credit card when your order is ready" during checkout, or via My Account like any other e-commerce site. You'll be sent directions on how to pay by credit card via PayPal when it's time to pay. Please note again that this must be done each time, on a per-order basis. All credit card processing and data management will be handled by PayPal; HLJ does not accept or store any credit card information.

Late Payments and Order Cancellations
As any business does, we expect our customers to make payments in a timely manner when their order is ready. If more than seven days pass from the time we alert a customer to a payment issue without the problem being resolved, and without any contact from the customer, that order and all of the customer's outstanding orders will be canceled, and their account(s) may be disabled. Customers experiencing special circumstances that make paying for an earlier order difficult should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to work out a solution and avoid cancellation of their orders or suspension of ordering privileges.
NOTE: HLJ only charges for in-stock items; items are charged for if they are in stock at the time the order is placed or as soon as they come into stock in the case of preordered or backordered items. If you are using the Private Warehouse system, the items will be charged for and moved to your virtual Private Warehouse as soon as payment is confirmed. You may then choose what items you want shipped and how at a later date, and you will be charged for the shipping once you create a shipping order in your Private Warehouse. If you use Ship When Available, the items and the shipping costs for those items will be charged for as soon as the items comes into stock. NOTE: Please understand that any problems with PayPal or your credit card must be handled by the customer. We cannot offer any support in this area.
NOTE: All our product prices and shipping fees are charged in Japanese yen. Please be aware that due to international exchange rate fluctuations, prices in your country's currency may change from the time you place an order to the time you are actually charged for it. The yen price does not change. The yen price at the time you placed the order is the price you will be charged. PayPal or your credit card company will handle the exchange to Japanese yen, and there may be a fee for this. Please consult with PayPal or your credit card company for details.
