I want to change my payment method from money order/cashier's check to credit card (or vice-versa).

If you first thought you were going to pay by cashier's check or money order, but later decided to go with a credit card instead (smart move!), then all you need to do is send us your credit card information by using the Account Maintenance System. We will automatically change your payment method to credit card.

Please note that if you have already sent us a cashier's check or money order for your payment, please don't submit credit card information to our site until you have received a shipping notice from us about your first order. If we get your credit card information before your check, we will almost certainly charge your order to your credit card, and the will mean that you will pay for your order twice. Of course, we will refund the over-payment, but that's messy and we'd like to avoid it if at all possible.

If, on the other hand, you want to switch your payment to cashier's check or money order from credit card, we first ask you to rethink your decision. Payment by means other than a credit card will require a trip to the bank or post office and the payment of service charges on your part, and will also delay shipment of your order by at least two weeks (because you won't be able to pay us until your order is ready to ship). If you still want to make the switch after considering all these factors, then send an e-mail to trouble@hlj.com and we'll make the change for you.
